Information you provide

When you join the waitlist, we collect your first name and email address. We also collect information you choose to provide when you contact us.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the website, we may collect:

• The page you visited and the page or website that referred you
• Campaign details in the link you used, including UTM source, medium, and campaign
• Browser, device, approximate location, and website interaction information
• Information used to secure the website and prevent fraudulent or automated submissions

We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic, referral sources, and interactions. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies. We do not send your name or email address to Google Analytics, and we do not currently use Google Analytics for targeted advertising.

How we use information

We use information to:

• Manage the beforehand waitlist
• Send early-access invitations, product news, and waitlist updates
• Respond to privacy, support, and other inquiries
• Understand how visitors find and use the website
• Measure marketing campaigns and improve beforehand
• Detect and prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations

You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time through the unsubscribe link in an email.

How we disclose information

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the website and waitlist, including:

• Cloudflare, which provides hosting, security, and database services
• Google, which provides website analytics and business email services
• Providers we use to deliver waitlist or product emails
• Professional advisers when reasonably necessary

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights or safety of beforehand or others, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of all or part of our business.

Selling and sharing personal information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by law before beginning the new activity.

Analytics and browser choices

We use technologies necessary to operate and protect the website, along with Google Analytics to understand website traffic and performance. You can restrict cookies in your browser or use Google’s Analytics opt-out tools. Restricting analytics will not prevent you from joining the waitlist.

Our website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals because there is no uniform standard for them. Where legally required, we honor applicable recognized opt-out preference signals. Because we do not sell or share information for cross-context behavioral advertising, those signals do not change our current sale or sharing practices.

Data retention

We retain waitlist information while the waitlist is active and for up to 24 months after beforehand becomes generally available, unless you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it sooner. We may retain limited information longer when reasonably necessary to comply with law, document consent or an unsubscribe request, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or protect our legal rights. Analytics information is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.

Your privacy choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including requesting access, correction, or deletion and receiving information about how it is used or disclosed.

Email privacy@withbeforehand.com to submit a request. We may need to verify your identity before completing it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

• Identifiers, such as first name and email address
• Internet or electronic activity information, such as referral information, campaign parameters, browser information, and website interactions
• Approximate location derived from an internet connection

We collect this information from you, your browser or device, and our analytics and security providers. We use and disclose it for the purposes described in this policy. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through the waitlist, and we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children’s privacy

beforehand is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No website, database, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

International visitors

beforehand is operated from the United States. If you access the website from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and other places where our service providers operate. Where applicable law requires consent for analytics or promotional communications, we will request it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as beforehand develops or our practices change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required.
